In 1999, former entertainment lawyer Jamie Barber teamed up with the late Sir Roger Moore and his son Geoffrey to launch Hush, an exclusive restaurant, bar and party venue, in what was then an undeveloped former taxi depot in the heart of Old Bond Street. Fast forward two decades, the Mayfair townhouse remains one of the UK’s most iconic dining destinations, and Jamie has teamed up with leading restaurateur Ed Standring to found The Hush Collection: a unique boutique group of restaurants which share one common goal: to create memorable experiences.
From the best alfresco dining space in London, to the neighbourhood’s most beloved burger spot, to good times and great vibes in the Capital’s hottest leisure and entertainment venues, The Hush Collection aims to create spaces where people can relax and hang out, feel great, have fun, and be part of a scene.

Jamie trained as a lawyer, and practiced at leading media law firm Harbottle & Lewis, acting for a wide range of clients from corporates (Virgin, Chrysalis) to individuals (Sir Roger Moore, Sir Michael Caine, Sir David Frost) Since then, Jamie has founded and operated many restaurant groups including Villandry, Kitchen Italia, No Hana, Cabana and Haché Burgers.

Ed Standring's dynamic career in the hospitality industry has spanned Richoux Group plc, Villandry Kitchen, Ground burger restaurant, Yard “pizza al metro” concept, Café Pasta, Bar Room Bar and Firkin Beer Co. Ed is a keen sportsman and fundraiser, running the London Marathon for Shelter, completing Ride London for Glass Door, founding Feed Our Frontline and raising significant funds for Action Against Hunger through his business interests.
